About Infamous Prime:

Corey B. Callender, also known as “Infamous Prime” was born and raised in Germantown Pennsylvania until the age of eight. While growing up in Germantown a next door neighbor that had a very big interest in music had seen that Infamous loved music. Every weekend he would go and buy Infamous rap cassettes of hip-hop artist’s such as Biggie Smalls, Jay-Z, Tupac, and DMX. Infamous would come home from school and sit at the radio in his mother’s room for hours listening to these cassettes. Infamous became so intrigued by music he began reciting lyrics from his favorite artist at the time DMX. Infamous later moved to Mt. Airy Pennsylvania. While living in Mt. Airy Infamous was still was in love with music, but began to love the sport of basketball and started focusing on becoming a professional basket ball player. Years later in ninth grade Infamous chose to stop playing basketball. Infamous states “The love just wasn’t there anymore. I didn’t know what I was going to do after I quit ball I was lost with no direction then somehow I started rapping and I don’t know why I guess it was meant to be”. A few months later Infamous began to record at a local recording studio called Bosses Productions. That was able to help Infamous become better as an artist because he could actually hear himself on a song; it also helped Infamous perfect his delivery and flow on the beat. The Only piece to the puzzle missing was the wordplay in his music. Infamous began to use his free time wisely. Infamous states “Man I sat in my room just thinking of being successful with music and that really was my inspiration. I would hear successful artists say it took a lot of hard work to get them where they are. I took that and ran with it making sure one day that would be me.” Infamous disciplined himself to write various 16’s a day to improve on becoming a better writer. Infamous also states “I was like forget the parties, girls, and whatever distractions that would stop me from getting where I need to be, so I stayed focused.”

Now Infamous is ready to release his long anticipated mix tape called “The Aftermath” which is set to release on 01/01/11 .  Infamous states “It’s Been a long time coming, my people in my camp know how hard I work. I look at it like this, Young Jeezy used to use a slogan “trap or die” and mine is rap or die because that’s how I feel. If I can’t produce music I would rather die. I know those are strong words but it’s deeper than rap, its love. I truly love it. So get ready for what I’m going to bring to the table, making music people love and I’m going to continue working hard for me and for my fans. I would also like to thank all of you who supported me and who still do support me. Thank you all a lot and I won’t disappoint you. … UPTOWN STAND UP!
